Compare furnished bell-tent sleepover packages, see how travel and setup change the total, and plan a backyard glamping budget with clear examples.

Every kid remembers their first night sleeping outside. The canvas glowing from the string lights inside, whispers after lights out, the strange thrill of waking up in the backyard. A backyard glamping sleepover gives them all of that, with foam mattresses and soft bedding. So what does it cost?
This guide explains Pillowmoon Parties’ own published sleepover prices, checked November 1, 2026. It is not a market average for Los Angeles or a quote for an indoor teepee party. Your final amount depends on the package, location, any agreed changes, and the applicable invoice charges.
1. What does the furnished bell-tent package include?
A Pillowmoon Parties backyard glamping sleepover in Los Angeles starts at $895 for a furnished outdoor bell tent. Choose five individual beds, six individual beds, or an eight-mattress shared floor layout for the same rental price. Bedding and lighting are included. Travel and professional setup are additional: the Zone 1 fee is $125, making the basic tent setup $1,020 before applicable taxes and fees.
The $895 Furnished Tent package is built around a canvas bell tent approximately 16 feet across. Inside, you choose between five individual beds, six individual beds, or eight mattresses arranged together across the floor as one big shared sleeping area. The furnished setup includes foam mattresses, bedding, and ambient lighting.
That price covers the tent experience, not the whole birthday party. You arrange the food, birthday cake, activities, personal overnight items, and adult supervision. Pillowmoon Parties installs the equipment and comes back for next-day breakdown; the team does not stay as party hosts or overnight staff.
Choosing a different layout does not change the package price. Five beds is our recommended balance of sleeping places and space between them. Six is a closer fit, good for a group that doesn't mind being cozy. Eight mattresses form one shared sleeping area rather than eight separate beds, the classic sleepover pile. Our sleepover planning guide compares the three tent layouts. Tell us the overnight guest count and ages so we can agree on the arrangement.
2. Compare the three sleepover options
Some parties are all about the tent. Others want a movie under the stars before bedtime, or a full birthday scene with a picnic table and a sign. We offer three packages that include an overnight tent, so choose based on the parts of the party you want us to supply, rather than assuming every celebration needs the largest package.
| Package and base price | Published scope |
|---|---|
| The Furnished Tent $895 | Bell tent with a choice of five beds, six beds, or eight mattresses in a shared floor layout; bedding and ambient lighting. |
| The Cinema Under the Stars + The Tent $1,295 | The furnished tent plus our outdoor cinema bundle. |
| The Complete Birthday Party $1,595 | The tent-and-cinema package plus a low picnic table, floor seating, rugs and throws, and a birthday-sign display. |
Our tent-and-cinema bundle currently includes a 100-inch screen, projector, six outdoor bean bags, and a popcorn machine. Confirm the exact combined setup when booking. This bundle has its own inclusions; standalone movie-night prices and extras do not automatically apply.
Photos are great for choosing the mood, but ask which items belong to the quoted package. A cake, flowers, balloons, tableware, or themed craft activity you see in an event photo should not be assumed to be part of the rental.

3. How much do travel and setup add?
Our sleepover service has three delivery zones measured from West LA. The service fee includes professional setup and next-day breakdown, so the tent is standing and styled before guests arrive and gone the next day. Add the appropriate fee to the chosen package once we have confirmed the event address and access.
| Delivery zone | Travel, setup, and next-day breakdown fee |
|---|---|
| Zone 1: 0-15 miles | $125 |
| Zone 2: 16-30 miles | $195 |
| Zone 3: 31-45 miles | $265 |
A city or neighborhood name alone does not settle the zone. Send the location so we can confirm the charge, and ask for a quote if the address is outside the published range. If access involves stairs or an unusual route, mention it before relying on a standard example.
4. Use a complete example budget
Here is how three different nights add up, from a simple tent sleepover close to home to a full birthday setup farther out. These examples show the package plus the stated service fee. They exclude applicable taxes and fees, custom requests, and anything you purchase separately for the party. Availability and the final invoice still need to be confirmed.
| Example selection | Calculation before applicable taxes and fees |
|---|---|
| Furnished Tent in Zone 1 | $895 package + $125 service fee = $1,020 |
| Tent + Cinema in Zone 2 | $1,295 package + $195 service fee = $1,490 |
| Complete Birthday Party in Zone 3 | $1,595 package + $265 service fee = $1,860 |
5. Leave room for the things you arrange
The rental is the stage, but you still write the evening. Keep the rental subtotal separate from your food and activity budget. Dinner, breakfast, drinks, cake, invitations, and optional favors are host purchases unless your written quote explicitly says otherwise.
Keep styling choices focused. The furnished tent already supplies bedding and lighting, so you may only want a cake table or one small personal touch. If you have a particular theme in mind, ask what can actually be supplied and what it would cost before buying matching items.

6. Confirm fit and booking terms before paying
Before any money changes hands, make sure the tent fits. Our standard staked setup needs at least 22 by 22 feet of flat, real grass. Working with a smaller yard? Our sandbag-and-wooden-board arrangement can shrink the footprint to as little as 18 by 18 feet, and it also allows setup on artificial turf without ground stakes. Send us the dimensions, surface type, and access details so we can confirm the right arrangement for your yard. The sleepover planning guide explains the two setup options.
Our published booking terms currently require a 50% reservation retainer, with the remaining balance due seven days before the event; bookings within seven days require full payment. Read the cancellation and weather-rescheduling conditions before reserving. The invoice itemizes applicable taxes and fees separately.
Delivery and next-day collection windows should be agreed directly with us. Do not treat a sample party timetable as a guaranteed arrival or pickup time.
7. Ask for a quote that matches your guest list
The more we know, the closer the first quote will be to the final one. Tell us your date, event location, overnight guest count, and whether you want the tent alone, tent with cinema, or the full birthday setup. Include the setup-area dimensions and any gate or stair restrictions. Tell us which of the three sleeping layouts you prefer. Five beds, six beds, and the eight-mattress shared layout have the same price; ask separately about any custom styling or other changes.
Our backyard sleepover planning guide covers the guest list, schedule, food, and practical preparations. For a movie-only event, use the separate outdoor movie-night cost guide. Keeping the two offers clear makes it easier to choose the setup you actually want.
